Why This Podcast?
Best friends and avid readers since childhood, we (Julie and Shirley) decided to start a podcast, celebrating our favorite children’s books by rereading them, to see if they are as good as we remember.
Do we think anyone is going to listen to this? Who knows. My husband already told me he won't listen to it, but maybe there are some other geeky adults who were geeky kids who wouldn't mind a walk through literary memory lane.
Our Criteria for Inclusion:
1. “Children’s book”
2. At least one of us read it as a young person
3. We are willing to reread it
4. **Maybe newer children’s books that were published when we were already adults.
We already have a really long list of books we want to cover, but if you have any suggestions for something you think would be cool, comment and maybe we'll discuss it in a future episode!
